Saved Lists is a community and directory for Google Maps lists and bookmarks.
I was looking for places to check out in Bali, so I asked someone who frequented there. She knew a friend who had a list of cool places to check out in Bali, and sent me her Google Maps list. I was like, “this is pretty cool!” Not only did I not have to map out where each place was (since I would do that to maximize my time in each travel destination I went to), I also got to see personalized places of interest that weren’t necessarily advertised by tourist websites and travel bloggers.
I thought this idea of Google Maps lists was pretty cool, and I told myself there’s bound to be a public directory of Google Maps lists somewhere. But to my surprise, I couldn’t find any! As an entrepreneur myself, I decided to take matters in my own hands and created this place where people can share their Google Maps lists with each other.
As of the moment, this is a one man operation, and just a side project. I am looking for volunteers to mod the Discord community once it gets bigger, and for volunteers to ensure submitted lists pass the prerequisites and then posting it into the appropriate Discord channel and website.
I encourage everyone to also join our Discord community so that you can also talk with like minded individuals and find travel tips and travel buddies there as well. If you have Google Maps lists you’d like to share, just click on [ Submit Your List ] in the menu.
